Youngsville water heater leaks in attic, repaired.

In Youngsville recently a water heater in an attic, leaked badly onto the ceiling in the house. The water heater was original to the house in Copperfield subdivision (about 28 years old) and was extremely corroded from the hard water in the area. The metal tank itself was leaking. We went in and was able to drain the old water heater; disconnect it from its pipes; and take it down out of the attic. We installed a new drain pan, a new 50 gallon water heater and new water supply lines to get the customer hot water again without any leaks.
