New Gas Line For Lafayette Outdoor Kitchen, Fireplace

A Lafayette couple recently decided to take their backyard to the next level for outdoor comfort and entertainment with the help of Master Drain Services.

The couple added a new cement slab and hired a brick mason to build an outdoor wood burning fireplace.

And they hired Licensed Master Natural Gas Fitter Todd Billiot with Master Drain Services to run the new gas lines for the new gas fixtures. Todd tied into an existing gas line and ran a new galvanized pipe for natural gas along the outside wall under the patio with stub outs for a future gas grill and pizza oven.

He added new polyethylene yellow gas pipe underground to an outdoor fireplace that was under construction at the same time as the installation of the new gas piping.

Finally, Todd ran the new galvanized piping for natural gas and a shut valve inside the fireplace, along with a log lighter inside the fireplace burning chamber.

All of the gas pipe work was permitted and inspected as part of Master Drain Services’ Natural Gas Permitting and Testing requirements to do gas work.

The gas pipe installation job ended with a nice gas fueled fire in the new fireplace for this Lafayette couple to enjoy their new and improved backyard.
