Lafayette Sky Zone Commercial Toilet Flushing Issue Solved
Sky Zone in Lafayette recently had a commercial toilet in the men’s room with a sensor that was constantly running.
The toilet repair in this case required replacement of the diaphragm kit. It’s necessary occasionally on these G2 Optima sensored flushometers.
After turning off the water to the toilet, I used a chrome strap wrench to unscrew the top of the flushometer and replace the rubber diaphragm.
The constant running of a commercial toilet usually is caused by one of three problems: 1) the diaphragm has debris stuck to it, or 2) the solenoid is malfunctioning, or 3) the batteries died.
Local Sky Zone owners Chris and Kim Fudge were happy the toilet was fixed quickly.
